Sunday’s Game of Thrones will not only be the longest episode in the show’s history, it’s also shaping up to be one of the most mysterious and dramatic. Below are 6 new photos from the 69-minute finale, titled — in a shout-out to author George R.R. Martin — “The Winds of Winter.” Like last week’s epic “Battle of the Bastards,” the episode is written by showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss and directed by Miguel Sapochnik. The director told EW in our Q&A earlier this week that the closer “feels equally as epic as episode 9 … but for completely different reasons.”

Here are the final batch of Thrones photos for 2016 (sniff…) as well as HBO’s preview video. Revelations include showing Jaime Lannister and Walder Frey together, the return of Bran Stark, Ser Loras with his locks shorn, and more. As usual, EW.com will have full coverage after the episode with inteviews, recap and podcast.
