The best-selling author of the After series has reimagined Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel Little Women for the modern era. Todd’s new book, The Spring Girls, was inspired by the story of four sisters during the Civil War, but now the March girls have cellphones (and social media). “I’m so excited for readers to get their hands on The Spring Girls,” Todd says, calling the original Little Women “one of my all-time favorites.” Todd says she had this idea in her head for a while and “can’t wait to share it with everyone.” The author gained fame after she published a story of One Direction fan fiction on Wattpad.
