Will & Grace may live again!

In the wake of the successful election short that reunited the Will & Grace quartet, NBC is in very early talks for a potential revival, EW has confirmed.

The Must See TV veteran comedy aired from 1998 to 2006 but made waves once again in September, when series stars Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally reunited for a semi-NSFW mini-episode aimed at getting the public to vote. Name-checking everything from Fifty Shades of Grey to Hamilton and Ryan Lochte along the way (and knocking Republican candidate Donald Trump), the video was produced by original Will & Grace creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan.

NBC and Universal TV had no comment about the potential revival, but sources stress it’s still very early and there would be a long road to this actually happening.

“The whole thing felt like we’d just gone on hiatus for a week and we’d just come back,” she said of doing the reunion short. “It was just like no time had passed. It was so effortless and fun. We just snapped right back into it, and we were just laughing and having a blast.”
