EW's editorial guidelines Published on February 28, 2017 Photo: Mark Rogers This week is already turning into a big one for movie trailers: Fox released a poster for Alien: Covenant on Tuesday with the promise of more footage dropping the next day, while the Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 trailer is set to premiere on Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night. The one-sheet for Ridley Scott’s Prometheus sequel/Alien prequel features a shadowy egg and warns to “hide.” Last week, the studio revealed the full cast, including James Franco, in a photo and video prologue showcasing the crew of the Covenant colony ship. Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, and Benjamin Rigby star in Alien: Covenant, about a ship’s search for an uncharted paradise that proves to be a dangerous world.
