Lin-Manuel Miranda gets lit for Drunk History Hamilton episode

Just stay alive — that would be enough

Two pints of Sam Adams, but he’s working on like nine more.

Lin-Manuel Miranda got historically toasted on the upcoming Nov. 29 episode of Drunk History, following suit of other celebs who have headlined the Comedy Central series by getting inebriated for the purposes of narrating famous moments in re-enacted history.

Unsurprisingly, Miranda was tapped to narrate the Alexander Hamilton episode, which will dive into the infamous duel and feature Alia Shawkat (Search Party) as the Treasury treasure and Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Rec) as Hamilton’s nemesis, Aaron Burr. The episode also features Bokeem Woodbine, Dave Grohl, David Wain, and Veep‘s Tony Hale as James Monroe, a bit of casting which should absolutely delight the James Monroe fandom on Tumblr.

EW debuted a first look at Miranda’s Drunk History episode back in August, but now we’ve got an even more exciting peek at the first clip from the episode, airing Nov. 29 at 10:30 p.m. ET on Comedy Central. Check it out below.
