The comedian (and future American Horror Story star) popped over to “one of the kindest streets in the world” for a special edition of Billy on the Street. Eichner toned down his expletive-laced confrontations for the kid-friendly setting, but he was also joined by Cookie Monster on a quest for some kindness and compassion. “Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?” Eichner asked Big Bird and Abby. Instead of dollar bills, he gave out cookies for any right answers, much to Cookie Monster’s dismay. “I’m very nice!” Eichner shouted before heading over to Zoe, Elmo, and Rosita. He managed to keep his cool, too, with Oscar the Grouch, who told him to “get lost,” and Grover, who kept getting his question wrong under pressure. “I’ll give you a cookie anyway because kindness is contagious!” the comedian told the blue muppet. “Best day of my life,” Eichner later tweeted of the segment.
