Taran Killam tries to murder Arnold Schwarzenegger in Killing Gunther trailer

“Who would win in a fight between Taran Killam and Arnold Schwarzenegger?” is not necessarily a conundrum which has caused too many people sleepless nights. But it is exactly that question which lies at the heart of Killing Gunther, a comedy set in the world of contract killers starring both the former Saturday Night Live cast member and the iconic Terminator actor.

Written and directed by Killam, the film concerns a group of young, raw, and undisciplined assassins who hire a documentary crew at gunpoint so that they have undeniable proof they’re the ones responsible for killing Schwarzenegger’s Gunther, the most infamous hitman of all time. But Gunther is on to them and decides to make their lives a living hell.

Killing Gunther costars Bobby Moynihan, Cobie Smulders, Hannah Simone, and Allison Tolman. The film is available to watch on Ultra VOD beginning Sept. 22 and will be released in select theaters and on demand on Oct. 20.
