One Tree Hill stars to reunite for Lifetime movie The Christmas Contract

The mystery project reuniting former One Tree Hill stars Danneel Ackles, Hilarie Burton, Robert Buckley, and Antwon Tanner has been revealed!

Later this year, the actors will come together to star in Lifetime’s The Christmas Contract. The film, written by Cassie Doyle and directed by Monika Mitchell, follows Jolie (Burton) as she returns home to Louisiana for the first time since a devastating break up with Foster (Claws star Hunter Burke). But when Jolie finds out that her ex is bringing home a new girlfriend, her best friend Naomi (Ackles) suggests that Jolie bring home Jack (Buckley), Naomi’s brother. Jolie, a professional web designer, isn’t sure about the plan, so Naomi, a lawyer, creates a Christmas contract so that they both get something out of the deal: Jack agrees to be a buffer for Jolie and her ex if Jolie helps design him a website to sell his upcoming novel. And, as Lifetime puts it, “Unbeknownst to them, the Christmas contract proves to be so much more than what they signed up for.”

The film also stars Jordan Ladd (Cabin Fever), Cheryl Ladd (Charlie’s Angels), Bruce Boxleitner (Tron), Jason London (Dazed and Confused), Teri Wyble (The Walking Dead), and Ritchie Montgomery (Baskets). And for one more bit of One Tree Hill magic, it will feature a musical appearance from Tyler Hilton, who played Chris Keller on the original show.
