While she’s the star of next year’s highly anticipated X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Sophie Turner also has a day job. The actress is in the midst of her final season as Sansa Stark on HBO’s behemoth Game of Thrones.

The actress told EW that the final season table read was a mixture of exhilaration and depression. “We had the read-through a while ago and at the end of it, we were all on our feet, applauding and crying,” says Turner. “We had everyone there, everyone who’s had any part in this. It was amazing.”

She adds, “We closed the blinds and shut ourselves off from the rest of the world and had six hours in this room just reading it through and crying and laughing. We had our emotional bit and then we thought, ‘Well now we’ve got eight months. We’ve still got a while to get through!'”

The six-episode final season of Thrones still doesn’t have an official premiere date from HBO but Turner recently said it wouldn’t be until 2019.
