Spider-Man pranks coffee lovers in viral Starbucks stunt

Even Peter Parker needs to refuel

The viral taste makers of Thinkmodo are at it again. The agency behind such movie-pegged stunts as Seth Rogen's grocery store excursion for Sausage Party, Carrie's telekinetic coffee shop prank, and the robotic demon child for Devil's Due crafted a new surprise for New Yorkers looking for their caffeine fix.

In honor of Spider-Man: Homecoming, a stuntman donning the web-slinger's signature suit hid out in a local Starbucks before dropping down from the ceiling to pick up his coffee order. As shown in video shot of the stunt, customers were definitely caught off guard.

Of course, Stan "The Man" Lee was there to offer his latest Marvel-related cameo.

Spider-Man: Homecoming, which stars Tom Holland as the friendly neighborhood superhero from Queens, will premiere on July 7. The film already received glowing reviews from the first round of reactions. Robert Downey Jr., Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Marison Tomei, Jon Favreau, and Donald Glover also feature.
