Forget becoming a Jedi: John Boyega has his sights set on becoming a Pokémon master.

In a recent interview with TechCrunch, the Star Wars actor revealed he plays Pokémon Go and captured the game’s most famous creature while filming the next installment of the hit intergalactic franchise.

“I found a Pikachu at Pinewood Studios while filming Star Wars,” Boyega enthused. “I told EVERYBODY. ‘I got a Pikachu!’ I was the most popular kid on set for like a day.”

Production for Star Wars: Episode VIII wrapped a couple of weeks ago. Boyega will reprise his Force Awakens role of reformed stormtrooper Finn in the upcoming film, which is due out Dec. 15, 2017.

Boyega is staying very busy outside of Star Wars as well, which may explain why he’s currently only at level 5 in Pokemon Go. The young actor is filming an adaptation series of Watership Down as well as a film from Kathryn Bigelow about the Detroit riots, and he’s also preparing for his first leading theater role.
