Thanksgiving trailer features Amy Sedaris and Chris Elliott

Thanksgiving. It’s a very special time that is almost upon us. For some, it’s a holiday spent basking in the warm glow of your family. For others, it’s a time to drink too much, fight with relatives, and re-up your prescription for Xanax. But here! Just in the nick of time comes Thanksgiving, a new web series from writer Bethany Hall and Daniel Powell, the co-creator of Inside Amy Schumer.

The original eight-episode series from Complex Networks’ Seriously.TV streams from Nov. 16-23 with a new episode released daily exclusively on go90.com. The series unfolds in real time so we get to spend four hours with the Morgan family — loosely inspired from Hall’s real life family, but familiar to all — on Thanksgiving Day. (“Think Arrested Development meets 24,” jokes Powell). Need more motivation? The head of the family is played by Amy Sedaris and Chris Elliott. The rest of the cast includes Elliott’s real life daughter, Bridey Elliott, as well as John Reynolds, Griffin Newman, Veronica Osorio, Josh Ruben, Josh Sharp, Moujan Zolfaghari, James III, and John Cullum.
