Twitter goes wild for Harry Potter's 20th anniversary

There’s no better place to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone than the closest social gathering place we have that resembles the Leaky Cauldron (or at least, an Owl Post filled entirely with Errols): Twitter!

The social media site is going big for the 20th anniversary with an exclusive emoji that will commemorate the anniversary as well as a cauldron-load of data about how Harry has fared online. Twitter teamed with Pottermore and Bloomsbury to create the event’s official emoji, which you can summon with the hashtag #HarryPotter20 for this dapper minimalist result:

  4. Snake (Buy 1989 on iTunes)
  5. Beer (Likely re: butter)
