Election Day is getting closer and closer, and with just four days to go until the nation chooses its next president, Rachel Bloom and a host of other celebrities have issued a musical plea to get Americans to the polls on Nov. 8.

The Crazy Ex-Girlfriend co-creator and star created and performs in a new Funny or Die video — which EW is exclusively premiering — that stresses the importance of voting in this year’s election. Co-written by Bloom, Zach Reino, and Jack Dolgen, the song features Elizabeth Banks, Moby, Mayim Bialik, Adam Scott, Adam Pally, Melissa Rauch, Jane Lynch, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and more stars slamming Donald Trump and urging, “Holy f—ing sh–, you’ve got to vote.”

Bloom told EW that the song came together recently, written in a span of two weeks and filmed and edited in just three days. “[In] musical comedy, it’s hard, especially about politics, and I don’t do much about politics because how do you make a point without being preachy. And I came up with this idea of doing a very, very self-aware, ‘We are the World’-type song that wasn’t trying to get Trump voters to not vote Trump,” she explained. “It was really just, being aware that it was kind of preaching to the choir in motivating maybe those holdouts who are anti-Trump, on the fence, motivating them to vote with well-intentioned fear of the kind of realistic thing that could happen.”

The video opens with Bloom at the piano (Moby, who is one of the music producers on the song, and Banks, who is also among the project’s producers, play drums and bass, respectively), singing that an “orange, talking STD” has driven her to the recording studio. Other members of the celebrity cast list then come in to join them in song. Getting everyone to sign on was a joint effort, Bloom revealed, with her and Banks and others getting people on board. “It was just a real hodgepodge of people because it’s anyone we could find to be there,” she said, “and it was a real blast of a day.”

A few others like Ferguson, Lynch, and Patti LuPone shot videos on their phones for the song’s bridge, jokingly “too busy to come into the studio” (if you ever wanted to hear LuPone sing “Donald Trump is human syphilis / we could be the anecdote,” now is your chance).

Lyrics in the video also include: “If we don’t work to prevent this / it’s four years of The Apprentice / we have to stop that sentient septic tank and you’re our only hope.”

Bloom finishes the video with one final plea for voters to choose Hillary Clinton when they head to the polls: “So vote for Hillary. Because what are you gonna do, throw your vote away on a third party? I mean I guess you technically could, it’s your right, but still.”

Referencing other comedy videos that have come out over the course of the presidential campaign, like Zach Galifianakis’ “Between Two Ferns” and the Will & Grace election scene, Bloom acknowledged that comedians aren’t likely to push voters from one candidate to the other. “No Trump voter is getting swayed at this point from a comedy video, they’re not,” she said. But Bloom added she hopes to engage others who might be less enthused about voting or feeling burnt out after a long cycle of campaign coverage. “If this video motivates one person, especially in a swing state, to just get out there, then it will have been worth it. I just personally didn’t want to say I did nothing. I wanted to say I tried.”
