The Buffy the Vampire Slayer vet has booked a three-episode arc on the CBS procedural as J.P. Nunnelly, the head of the best criminal defense firm in New York. When a member of his team gets into some legal trouble, Dr. Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly) hires Nunnelly’s firm to help out. Dushku’s first episode airs May 9. Dushku, who played vampire slayer Faith on the Joss Whedon-created series, recently appeared in the final season of Cinemax’s Banshee. Her other credits include Whedon’s two-season show Dollhouse, Bring It On, and a few Marvel animated TV shows where she voices She-Hulk. Bull, which is currently in the middle of its first season, was among the 18 shows that received early renewals from CBS on Thursday. Bull airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on CBS.
