Let It Fall: Los Angeles 1982-1992 HOW/WHEN & WHERE TO WATCH: 8 p.m. on ABC Originally airing in 2017, for the 25th anniversary of the L.A. riots, this John Ridley-directed documentary examines the 1992 uprising in Los Angeles following the Rodney King verdict, when all four officers charged with assaulting him were acquited and three of the four were acquited on charges of using excessive force (the jury could not agree on the excessive force charge against the fourth officer). This is the question posed on One Day at a Time's animated special that'll see extended members of the Alvarez family come for a weeklong visit with their conservative opinions flying all over the place. Gloria Estefan and Melissa Fumero return to the roles of Tia Mirtha and Estrellita, respectively, with the addition of Lin-Manuel Miranda portraying Tio Juanito. Estefan and Rita Moreno, who play sisters, will duet on a new version of the former's hit song "Mi Tierra," and Miranda brings Hamilton out to play.
