RuPaul's Drag Race star BeBe slays Adam Lambert with bonkers feline vocals

BeBe Zahara Benet might be the cat's meow when it comes to drag queen glamour, but her skills as a songstress sound more like a heated hiss.

In EW's exclusive clip (above) from this week's episode of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 3, the season 1 champion paws her way into the American Idol runner-up's heart with a fierce feline persona crafted for an upcoming challenge inspired by the Spice Girls.

After RuPaul tasks the final five All Stars 3 contestants with forming a supergroup appropriately dubbed The Kitty Girls, Benet prepares to cut her verse for the quintet's debut single "Drag Up Your Life" (see what they did there?) with Lambert sitting in as a vocal coach.

"Is this like a French pussy we're doing in this?" Lambert jokes when Benet enters the recording booth speaking another language. "I'm Jungle Kitty. She is very wild, she is ferocious," Benet then explains of her chosen character. "But you know, she is international fish, too."

"I'm very excited about this challenge because bitch, I'm a performer," she later continues in a confessional, cackling at her own pointed inflection.

When it comes time for Benet to lay down her vocals, however, what comes out of her mouth is an unintelligible mishmash (aside from the crystal clear lyric "Yeah, I'm pussy, bitch!") that, judging by the expression on Lambert's face, hit all the right notes.

Tune in to RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 3 Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET on VH1 to find out what the heck BeBe is trying to say. Watch EW's exclusive sneak peek at the Kitty Girls challenge above.
