Rose Marie's career is the greatest untold Hollywood story in new Wait for Your Laugh trailer

"Believe me when I tell you, she's the history of show business"

When you think of child stars in the Golden Age of Hollywood, Shirley Temple easily comes to mind. Before Shirley Temple though, there was Rose Marie — and as Hollywood legend Tim Conway puts it in the new trailer for Wait for Your Laugh, “The minute she was born, the doctor slapped her, and she started singing.”

Rose Marie’s rise to fame began at the age of four with her own NBC radio show. From Vegas to The Dick Van Dyke Show and Hollywood Squares, Rose Marie’s career has spanned 90 years. Dubbed as the greatest untold story in show business, that career trajectory doesn’t play out without characters like Al Capone and Bugsy Siegel making an appearance or two.

Also featuring appearances from Dick Van Dyke and Perry Botkin Jr., the trailer makes one thing clear: Rose Marie’s story is one Hollywood tale that seems destined to be told.

Wait for Your Laugh opens in New York Nov. 3 and Los Angeles Nov. 17, with a nationwide rollout to follow.
