Netflix has found much success recently with its true-crime documentary series. 2015’s Making a Murderer was a huge hit, and the streaming platform followed that up last fall with their Amanda Knox documentary. The next true-crime documentary series on the Netflix schedule is The Keepers, an investigation of the 1969 disappearance of a Baltimore nun. Based on the new trailer, it looks like a doozy.

Although the Catholic Church has been tangled up in sexual assault scandals for the last few decades, Baltimore residents in the trailer for The Keepers recall Sister Cathy as “a spirit of compassion and kindness.” Her 1969 murder has apparently haunted her community ever since. The trailer implies that she may have been killed for asking too many questions about abusive priests, but to find out the full story, viewers will have to tune in on May 19.
