EW can exclusively reveal that the sixth volume of the animated web series RWBY will premiere in the fall. Produced by the Austin, Texas-based company Rooster Teeth, the show follows the adventures of four monster-battling characters — Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang — on the fantasy world of Remnant. The show will premiere on Rooster Teeth’s premium SVOD platform FIRST.

Rooster Teeth also announced that its 2018 animation slate will include two new series: gen:LOCK and Nomad of Nowhere. gen: LOCK concerns a diverse team of young pilots who are recruited to control the next generation of giant, weaponized robot bodies. In Nomad of Nowhere, which premieres on FIRST on March 2, a mysterious nomad traverses a Western wasteland — but a price on his head sends him on the run from captors and bounty hunters who all want to score big when they bring in the world’s last magical being.

“At Rooster Teeth, the mantra is ‘make what you would want to watch,’ and we’re thrilled to be bringing out two new original series for our community,” said Gray G. Haddock, head of Rooster Teeth Animation, in a statement. “We’re having a ton of fun, and we can’t wait to share more.”

Finally, Rooster Teeth has announced that the shows Red vs. Blue, Camp Camp, RWBY Chibi, DEATH BATTLE, DBX, and RTAA will also return this year.

All the shows will be available to watch exclusively on FIRST, then move to YouTube and other free-to-watch platforms.

The finale of RWBY Vol. 5 premieres on FIRST on Jan. 20. See an exclusive image from gen:LOCK, below:
